Managinig Partner
Daniel Silberman is the Managing Partner and Founder of Altitude CTF Holdings LLC and is based in Santiago, Chile.
Prior to starting Altitude, from 2022 to 2024, Daniel was the Managing Director Americas for Avolon, one of the leading aircraft leasing companies in the world. He held primary responsibility over airline origination and transactions.
From 2010 to 2022, Mr. Silberman was the Head of Latin America and Caribbean for BBAM, another major aircraft leasing and management company, with airline origination responsibilities, developing the region and closing multiple sale and leasebacks, leases and refinancing transactions.
Between 2004 and 2010, Mr. Silberman was Latin America Managing Director for Automatic LLC, where he developed the region, participating in multiple aircraft and engine leases, purchases and sales, involving airlines across different regions.
From 2002 to 2004, Daniel was the Commercial Director and Co-Founder of Antartik Aviation Management, an aviation consultancy enterprise, specialized in advisory and brokerage of aircraft and engine leases, trading and financing in the Latin American region.
Between 2000 and 2002, he was Director of Business Development and Funding for RESIDCO, in Chicago, participating in several aircraft leases, sales and purchases with primary responsibility for business development and portfolio efficiency.
Daniel started his aviation career in 1996 with Lan Chile S.A. (now LATAM Airlines) in Santiago, Chile, as Leasing and Insurance Analyst, where he negotiated and managed lease, purchase and insurance transactions by the airline in its early stages of growth and consolidation.
Over his extensive career, Mr. Silberman has participated in numerous transactions, involving dozens of aircraft leases, sales, remarketing and origination, through placements, remarketing and sale and leasebacks. He has an extensive understanding of the Americas airline market and almost 30 years of experience in the aviation industry.
Daniel holds a BA in Business Administration from Universidad de Chile and an MBA from University of Cambridge, England.
